Und so wird in den n\u00e4chsten Jahren dieses System zur Valorisierung<\/strong> eines einzigartigen geologischen<\/strong> Schatzes Formen annehmen: Allein im italienischen Karst wurden mehr als 6.000 Dolinen<\/strong> und mehr als 3.000 unterirdische H\u00f6hlen registriert<\/strong>, mit einem Durchschnitt von 16 Grotten pro Quadratmeter.<\/p>\n

Dieses Gebiet setzt sich in Slowenien fort, dessen Landesfl\u00e4che fast zur H\u00e4lfte aus Karst besteht, mit mehr als 8.000 registrierten Grotten.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In unserem Karst gibt es magische Pl\u00e4tze, die einen gro\u00dfen wissenschaftlichen und historisch-kulturellen Wert haben: Von ihnen allen seien hier die Stellen genannt, an denen sich der unterirdische Fluss Timavo<\/strong> den Menschen zeigt, so wie in San Giovanni di Duino-\u0160tivan<\/strong> in Italien. Hier, nach mehr als 40 km unterirdischem Verlauf, m\u00fcndet der Fluss ins Meer. Auf der anderen Seite der Grenze gibt es die besonders ber\u00fchmten, bereits zum UNESCO Weltnaturerbe deklarierten Grotten von Canziano<\/strong> (\u0160kocjanske jame), wo der Fluss in der Tiefe verschwindet. Die vielleicht spektakul\u00e4rsten sind die Kliffs Kliffe von Duino<\/strong> in Italien: wei\u00dfer Karstfelsen, der sich gleichsam unvermittelt aus dem Golf von Triest erhebt.<\/p>\n

Allein im italienischen Teil des k\u00fcnftigen Geoparks gibt es 57 Geo-St\u00e4tten<\/strong>, d.h. \u201eOrte oder Gebiete mit geologischen Eigenschaften, die so spezifisch sind, dass sie die Geschichte der Gegend, ihrer Felsen, Mineralien, Fossilien und Landschaften zu verstehen helfen\u201c. Davon haben 11 von der Region Friaul-Julisch Venetien registrierte Geo-St\u00e4tten nationale und 7 \u00fcbernationale Bedeutung.<\/p>\n

Dieses Gebiet aus Stein hat Dichter und Landwirte inspiriert, die hier einzigartige Gedichte, aber auch herausragenden Wein, K\u00e4se und Honig geschaffen haben…<\/p>\n

Das Gebiet unseres \u201eKlassischen Karsts\u201c<\/strong> (\u201eMati\u010dni Kras\u201c) ist das Gebiet, wo w\u00e4hrend der Zeit von \u00d6sterreich-Ungarn erstmalig das geologische Ph\u00e4nomen des Karsts erforscht wurde.<\/p>\n

Was die Gebiete der Orte anbelangt, in denen sich der k\u00fcnftige Geopark ansiedeln m\u00f6chte, so sind es in Slowenien die Gemeinden von Diva\u010da, Hrpelje-Kozina, Komen, Miren-Kostanjevica und Se\u017eana; in Italien die Gemeinden von Doberd\u00f2 del Lago \u2013 Doberdob, Duino Aurisina \u2013 Devin Nabre\u017eina, Fogliano Redipuglia, Monfalcone, Monrupino \u2013 Repentabor, Ronchi dei Legionari, Sagrado, San Dorligo della Valle \u2013 Dolina, San Pier d\u2019Isonzo, Savogna d\u2019Isonzo \u2013 Sovodnje ob So\u010di, Sgonico \u2013 Zgonik und Triest.<\/p>\n

Das Ziel der Arbeit von vielen \u00f6ffentlichen Einrichtungen, darunter die Ortsverwaltungen der oben genannten Gebiete und die Regionalverwaltung von Friaul-Julisch Venetien, ist es nicht nur, den grenz\u00fcberschreitenden Geopark des Karsts zu gr\u00fcnden, sondern ihn auch Teil des Netzwerks der UNESCO Global Geoparks werden zu lassen.<\/p>\n
